A Spirit-Bank of Fortune and Growth

There are banks of brick and steel, and there are banks of spirit.
The Barrel Treasurer is not a decoration — it’s a living vessel born through lineage, ritual, and work.

Each Barrel Treasurer is a spirit-bank, crafted and consecrated through a fusion of Thai sorcery, Quimbanda, and Old Style Conjure. These barrels were built to attract, hold, and multiply wealth — working as treasurers that eat what you feed and return it in kind.

About the Work

This project began under the guidance of Ajarn Apichai, who taught the use of containers and banks in Thai magical practice as homes for wealth. The barrel form came to life through my own path in conjure and Quimbanda, where whiskey and spirits fuel offerings and empower work.

Each Barrel Treasurer is:
• Washed and fumigated with ritual herbs to open it as a house for spirit.
• Inscribed with sigils of Jupiter and the Sun for growth and radiance, alongside conjure seals drawn by my hand.
• Given a heart — a cowrie shell loaded with powders crafted jointly between Ajarn Apichai and myself as Tata in Quimbanda. These powders are medicines to draw, hold, and grow wealth.
• Awakened and fed through smoke, whiskey, coins, and prayer before release.

The barrel’s wood is its skin and bone. Its sigils are its tattoos. Its shell is its heart. Once awakened, it becomes a spirit-treasurer — a banker of fortune who listens, eats, and provides.
