See Pung Maha Saulotmongkhon- Ajarn Apichai

Coming soon

See Pung is a traditional preparation found within Thai sorcery, often made with sacred waxes, oils, herbs, and other materials selected according to the intended purpose of the working.

This particular See Pung, known as Maha Saulotmongkhon, was crafted by my teacher, Ajarn Apichai of Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is a preparation with a rather extensive range of attributes, bringing together several aspects of Thai magical practice into a single piece.

Among its traditional purposes are improving one’s fortune and strengthening the influence of one’s guardian spirit, increasing personal charm and attraction, gaining the goodwill of others, and lending influence to one’s words during negotiations or when seeking assistance.

Its attributes extend into matters of love and fidelity, restoring harmony within troubled households, attracting prosperity into business, protection against harmful spiritual influences, and safeguarding the individual during travel. It is also traditionally employed to strengthen and renew the blessings of other amulets.

The preparation itself is housed within an oval container, holding a deep red See Pung adorned with a gold-toned amulet and two takruts. The exterior features Thai sacred inscriptions and imagery associated with its maker.

Studying directly under Ajarn Apichai, I have come to appreciate the versatility of his work and the knowledge behind these preparations. This is another example of a piece whose applications reach beyond a single purpose.
